ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS

Industrial Technologist
Duration: 4 Months
Gain foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in industrial operations. This program provides training in:
- Basic and advanced industrial processes
- Planning and procedures
- Industrial management concepts
- Workplace safety
Students split time between classroom instruction and hands-on shop training, learning directly from experienced industrial technologists.
Mechanical Helper
Duration: 160 Hours
Gain hands-on experience working with mechanical systems and tools. Training includes:
- OSHA safety standards
- Practical math
- Print reading and troubleshooting
- Scaffolding and rigging
- Operation of shop equipment and power tools
This program equips students with a broad mechanical skill set applicable across multiple industries.
Welder Helper
Duration: 100 Hours
This OSHA-compliant program provides practical training in welding fundamentals and metallurgy. Course topics include:
- Blueprint safety
- Carbon arc welding
- Drafting
- Gas metal arc welding
- Oxy-acetylene welding
- Plasma welding
- Practical math
- Shielded metal arc welding
- Types of metal
Upon completion, students understand welding technology concepts and how to apply them in practical settings.
Radiological Control Technologist
Duration: 320 Hours
Prepare for work in radiological environments by developing knowledge in:
- Radiological instrumentation
- Radiation safety
- Survey techniques
Program requirements include:
- Passing the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) RCT Core Exam
- Completing a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
- Completing respirator training
- Completing radiological worker training
Meeting these requirements qualifies you to work with DOE and at commercial nuclear sites.
